GI Dynamics has launched the EndoBarrier in select markets in Europe and South America. These efforts include identifying and certifying Centers of Excellence and expanding clinical experience with the EndoBarrier. The EndoBarrier is available in Chile, Germany, United Kingdom and the Netherlands. Additional markets of interest include Australia, Brazil and Italy.

The EndoBarrier is not approved for sale in the United States and is considered investigational. The EndoBarrier is indicated to treat patients with type 2 diabetes and/or obesity for 12 months and is CE marked in Europe.
